Penulis masih ingat sewaktu membawa arwah Che(ibu) penulis ke kedai emas membeli emas. Dan pada waktu yang sama Che juga menanyakan harga gelang yang dipakai sebelum ini berapa nilainya. Kedai emas menjawab rm3+++ dan harga sewaktu beli dulu hanyalah rm15++. Hanya berselang 5 tahun sahaja harga emas tersebut telah melonjak sekali ganda. Dari saat itu, penulis berfikir, adalah baik kalau simpan emas berbanding duit biasa dalam akaun simpanan.
